Taj Mahal Tour By Car

6:00 AM: Pickup from Delhi Airport/Railway Station/Hotel

In the morning, our driver will take you for the Delhi to Agra tour planned on the same day. Traveling through the smooth and fast Yamuna Expressway, you will reach Agra in about 3 and 4 hours approximately.

09:30 AM: Arrival at Agra City

Upon arrival in Agra you will be warmly welcomed and introduced to your professional tour guide. If you wish, you can enjoy a cup of refreshing tea or coffee before beginning your exciting Taj Mahal tour. Your guide will give you information on the essentials and tell you what items are allowed inside the monument.

10:00 AM: Visit the Taj Mahal Monument of Agra

Start your tour with Skip-the-Line Entry Gate, you will enter the majestic grounds of the Taj Mahal. Your tour guide will give you perfect information about the courtyard, highlighting the intricate Arabic patterns and calligraphy at the grand entrance. Built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is a timeless symbol of beauty and devotion.

Located on the banks of the Yamuna River, the peaceful gardens and sparkling fountains create a sense of paradise. The pristine white marble, representing purity, is adorned with exquisite inlay work, which your guide will describe in hitory of the Taj Mahal monument. Please note that visitors are allowed a maximum of three hours to explore the monument.

12:30 PM: Lunch at Agra Local Restaurant

Taste authentic Mughlai cuisine at the local restaurants in Agra. Enjoy Shahi Paneer, Butter Paneer, Butter Naan, Paneer Bhurji, Paneer Makhani, Potato Stir fry, Boondi Raita, Dal Makhani and many other delicacies and have a great culinary Taj Mahal experience.

1:30 PM: Visit the Agra Fort

After lunch, you will continue your tour visit the majestic Agra Fort is a main residence of the Mughal Dynasty. Built on the remains of a mud fort originally called Badalgarh, it was commissioned by Emperor Akbar and later extended by his successors Jahangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb.

The fort displays a mix of architectural styles, ranging from red sandstone to stunning white marble palaces. Its beautiful gardens, balconies and impressive structures fascinate visitors. Your guide will also show the place where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb and where he spent his last days admiring the Taj Mahal.

3:00 PM: Visit Baby Taj (Itmad-Ud-Daulah)

Next, visit the magnificent Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb, often known as the "Baby Taj". This is beautiful mughal heritage building same as well of the Taj Mahal, showcasing similar features such as marble craftsmanship and white stone inlay art designed. Your tour guide will provide information about its rich history and highlight architectural parallels with the Taj.

4:00 PM: Heritage Walk Experience in Agra

Enjoy a wonderful walk through Agra's Heritage Walk, where you'll explore the city's rich cultural and historical sites. This immersive tour gives you the opportunity to discover Agra's lesser-known gems and showcases its vibrant local life. As you walk, your guide will share fascinating stories and information about the city's heritage.

6:00 PM: Return to Delhi Departure
